Dairy Free Chocolate & Hazelnut Milk
Chocolate and Hazelnut is a perfect match… Nut milks are a great guilt-free way to satisfy those dairy cravings. Best served cold. I use a juicer in this recipe.
1 litre filtered water
1 vanilla pod
2 tbsp agave nectar
2 tbsp cocoa
1. Soak the hazelnuts in water overnight (or for at least 5 hours)
2. With the juicer on, pour nuts and water through the shoot. Repeat this step a few times until the nut remains seem dry. Be careful not to add more water than you need as this will water down the milk.
3. Scrape out the vanilla specks from the pod and add these to the milk, along with the agave nectar and cocoa. Combine until everything has completely mixed together.
4. Pour the milk into a sealed container and leave in fridge until ready to serve.
