Review: Launceston Place, London

This charming Michelin-starred restaurant is tucked away in a quiet residential Kensington street, which boasts an equally “intimate” atmosphere, as it is elegant. The menu is really an appreciation of the flavours of British seasons – something that often isn’t acknowledged enough.

I would though recommend the Set Lunch – 3 courses for £30 is a no brainer as far as the food is concerned. The only downside was that the service didn’t match its star rating. Our waiter didn’t seem to know anything about the menu and almost pretended our table was on another planet. I really hope this was just an unlucky day.
