Strawberry, Banana & Green Tea Smoothie
This smoothie is the perfect wake up call! I often have it for breakfast. The green tea gives it some extra flavour and also adds those all-important antioxidants. You’ll need a blender for this recipe.
1 small cup strong green tea
300ml unsweetened almond milk
Bit of honey for sweetening (optional)
1. Prepare the green tea by boiling some water and adding to some loose green tea or bag. Add honey to sweeten if preferred (the smoothy is naturally sweet so I avoid this step). It’s important that the tea is really strong. Leave to cool – It’s best to chill the tea so that when it’s added to the smoothie it keeps it cold.
2. Blend together the bananas, strawberry, almond milk and chilled green tea.
